Operating since 2010, our Association is a national reference point for independent performing arts, and for its ability to intercept the movements of contemporary art of live entertainment. Since 2018 we manage the theater programming at OFF TOPIC, (www.offtopictorino.it), a cultural and creative hub that we founded together with 2 other realities: The Goodness Factory and Klug. In 2018 we founded the first formal network of independent Turin theaters, Fertili Terreni Teatro, together with ACTI, Tedacà and Il Mulino di Amleto. The artists who make up Cubo Teatro come from different disciplines: theater, music, visual arts, contemporary art. For this reason, our artistic research explores multidisciplinarity as a language of the contemporary, and our works range from theatrical performances to live sets, from visual concerts of electro-jazz music to installations, exhibitions and art videos. Since 2018 our productions have debuted at the Teatro Stabile di Torino, Festival delle Colline, Jazz Festival, Fertili Terreni. Since 2010 we have been planning a theatrical season at our space that focuses on contemporary research of independent theater, on new languages and unpublished stage dramaturgy. In more than 10 years we have hosted some of the most important artists on a national level, and discovered the new young groups that have then become Italian reference points and beyond. Our artistic projects are supported, or have enjoyed the support, of the main citizens and regional supporters: Compagnia di San Paolo, CRT Foundation, City of Turin and Teatro Stabile, Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo, Piedmont Region. We have collaborated or still collaborate with: Festival delle Colline Torinesi, Teatro Stabile di Torino, Torino Jazz Festival, Polo del '900, Museo della Resistenza, Camera (Italian Institute of Photography), Festival Incanti, DLT Company and Italian Cultural Institute in Canada (Toronto), Odwrocony Theater (Krakow).
