Onside Coaching offers primary aged children, of all abilities, the opportunity to participate in planned and supervised sports activities. The approach is centred around the fun and enjoyment that sport and activity can provide. The company delivers PE and after school clubs in primary schools, runs holiday childcare activities and arranges birthday parties. Teaching and coaching is delivered from Onside Coaching’s own curriculum. It has been devised, and continues to be developed, by a dedicated planning team covering all areas of PE. This is supported by an on-going assessment system. The company is underpinned by a comprehensive booking and registration system that has been designed and built in house. It not only manages the customer booking and administration process for all clubs and holiday childcare places, it provides all staff with a live, interactive register that helps us to safeguard children and safely deliver our activities. Over the last 20 years Onside Coaching have developed a great understanding of the marketplace. There are three directors who all draw on their individual experiences. To succeed it is vital to understand every detail of how schools work, from stimulating class teachers right through to school budgets. It is important to know how to establish popular holiday activities, from effective marketing right through to flexible bookings. It is imperative when educating children to understand how to engage them in planned, structured activity from how to plan lessons, right through to safeguarding every child. All Onside Coaching staff are carefully recruited and trained. This ensures that they are not just coaches, but they are educators who understand the importance of their role whether it is working in schools or delivering holiday schemes.
