When we started our business more than 20 years ago, our vision was to enable feature teams to produce software solutions that delight customers by using Lean, Agile and DevOps thinking.
We believed that, by forcing a paradigm shift in the supply and demand of IT resources, we could grow pockets of excellence within the software delivery ecosystem in South Africa. We created a platform where companies in search of quality software outcomes could connect with skilled and experienced people who share a belief in delivering software that delights customers.
That was before the world turned upside down this year. But we think this belief is even more relevant now than before. Surviving the Covid-19 economic recovery will require new thinking and an obsessive focus on quality outcomes. Companies will need to work smarter than before, drawing on the innovation and abilities of a broad range of skilled practitioners.
We are initiating a series of conversations around creating a new normal in South Africa. We’ll be focusing on broad issues around economic recovery and SME development, as well as niche aspects of software quality engineering and how that plays into the bigger job of getting us through the next few years in better shape.
