International School of Busan (ISB) is located in Busan, South Korea's second-largest city. We educate students from age three through to Grade 12, preparing them for university and beyond. As an IB World School, ISB offers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). Our teaching approach is student-centered and inquiry-based, focusing on conceptual learning within both local and global contexts. We aim to foster independent, lifelong learners. ISB is proud of its diverse community, with families and teachers from around the world. Our fleet of 17 buses serves the southeast region of Korea, ensuring students’ safe transport to and from campus. As a not-for-profit institution, ISB is governed by a volunteer Board of Governors. Our campus, built with the support of the Busan City Government, spans 30,000 square meters. It includes science labs, art and design technology rooms, three libraries, music facilities, a cafeteria, gymnasium, tennis court, floodlit astroturf football field, running track, and age-appropriate playgrounds.
