What: Heirloom Collective is an Arizona nonprofit dedicated to transforming the way we live and thrive together, building and operating intimate, intergenerational living communities (Heirloom Communities). Who: We will serve young adults 18 - 24 who age out of the foster care system alone and seniors living alone on fixed income. Both groups are at high risk due to financial insecurity and lack of social networks. Why: We’re leveling the social playing field and solving the root cause of key challenges including homelessness, social isolation and incarceration - We’re not a bandaid - we’re a transformer. Where: Our first community will be in Mesa, Arizona
