We Rise Together is a non-profit organization that aims to resolve social and climate issues at a community level through three interconnected initiatives: 1. SundayforSecuredFuture: whereby we encourage youngsters to take positive action for the climate, every Sunday. We have planted around 4000+ trees and carried out many river cleanups. 2. She Hygiene: focuses on distributing bio-degradable sanitary pads to girls who cannot afford to buy this basic necessity. We are currently providing 300_ girls with such pads per month. To date, we have donated over 60000+ pads. We are also spreading awareness about menstrual hygiene through our awareness session. Also promoted sustainable alternatives like Menstrual Cups. 3. Helping Hands: encourage people to give us items such as clothes, books, shoes, food, etc which we donate to uneducated children. We have given 1500 books that have become a source of education and entertainment for many. We have initiated the 'Menstrual Hygiene For All' petition to demand to add menstrual hygiene as a topic in the curriculum of all schools in India from 6th Grade onwards. Our motto is 'Give to Grow'- Give to the Environment, Give to the Women and Give to the Children to Grow together.
