Enosh – The Israeli Mental Health Association was established in 1978 to support people with psychosocial disabilities and their family members. Over the years, the organization has spearheaded innovative rehabilitation services based on a personal approach and principles of the mental health Recovery Model, enabling people with mental illness to lead meaningful lives.
Today Enosh runs more than 85 service centers nationwide for mental health consumers and family members. Over 900 mental health professionals and hundreds of volunteers provide support in the fields of youth mental health (through headspace centers), supportive housing, employment, recreation, and family support.
Enosh promotes the rights of people with psychosocial disabilities and their families. Through policy and advocacy work in Israel and the international level, holding a consultative status to the UN - ECOSOC since 2017.
