Teach For Qatar (TFQ) is a local NGO that attracts young leaders and gives them the tools to inspire in the classroom and beyond. Born of the belief that the next generation of leaders should be inspired by the best in the country, TFQ is part of a broader NGO led by Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani that provides niche, innovative solutions to Qatar’s education challenges. TFQ recruits the country’s young leaders to take part in a rigorous teacher-training program and two-year teaching placement in one of the country’s independent schools. TFQ is the 32nd member of the Teach for All Network (TFA), recognized as one of the world’s 100 strongest NGOs in 2013 by the Global Journal.
