DDS serves over 45,000 vulnerable individuals throughout their lifetimes, providing a spectrum of day, employment, and residential supports.
An agency of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), DDS manages a $2.7 billion annual operating budget and is served by over 5,500 staff, the largest state employee workforce of any agency in the Massachusetts executive branch of government.
