The Pakistan Environment Trust (PET) is a non-profit organisation mobilising global capital and expertise towards tackling Pakistan’s toughest environmental challenges. As one of the top 10 countries most vulnerable to climate risk, Pakistan continues to face an annual multi-billion dollar shortfall in funding for climate action. We partner with leaders from business, finance, government, and non-profits to deliver initiatives that are enabling the transition towards a climate-resilient, low-carbon, and biodiverse Pakistan. Our work is structured along 3 priorities: (1) Developing interventions to tackle Pakistan’s greatest climate and environmental threats (2) Assembling experts and practitioners in long-term strategic partnerships, and (3) Deploying global capital towards launching and sustainably scaling interventions.
