In accordance to victim’s rights in Maryland, victims have a right to be: treated with dignity and respect, informed of their rights and how to apply for services, notified of crisis intervention and counseling services, notified of domestic violence program and support groups, notified of criminal injuries compensation and other social services available to them, informed of protection available to them and how to request reliefs for their safety.
