Treetops Hospice in Derbyshire offers nursing care and emotional support for adults with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, neurological conditions and heart and respiratory conditions. The charity also supports carers and families. Treetops Hospice at Home nurses travel across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, providing end of life care for patients in their own homes. There is also a Wellbeing Service in Risley and a Counselling and Emotional Support Service. As a registered charity, all the services are provided free of charge. It costs £4.1million to run the hospice each year; the majority of which needs to be raised through charitable donations and fundraising events.
