Dedicated to aiding individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, or violence, Waypoint (formerly the YWCA) has served as a vital community resource since 1894. Over the years, we've honored our tradition of improving lives through our stabilizing resources and services, including support that empowers survivors of domestic violence, shelter for women and families with children experiencing homelessness, advocacy and support for those impacted by homicide and violent crime, and proactive solutions for those in poverty. Accompanying our critical services is our cost-effective child care, KidsPoint, designed to give children the skills they need to thrive.
Every year, Waypoint serves over 17,000 individuals and inspires them to move forward in their lives.
