The Rembrandt tradition began in a small bespoke tailoring business in Wellington nearly 70 years ago and continues today under management ownership. Rembrandt is a leader in the retailing, marketing and manufacturing of world-class, contemporary menswear whose brands are represented in the most accomplished and highly regarded retail stores in Australia and New Zealand. Our success comes from a deep understanding the principles of tailoring and combining these with modern designs, technology and cloths from the worlds’ finest mills. The extensive Rembrandt collection includes suits, jackets and trousers, shirts, ties, outerwear, accessories and casual wear. Garments are tailored in the Company’s own production facility, or made under contract by specialist overseas manufacturers. To keep pace with international trends in menswear, the Rembrandt design team are frequent visitors to the fashion capitals of the world and fabric exhibitions in Europe. The Production and Technical team also travel to ensure the latest technology and top international practices are implemented across the company. Rembrandt is headquartered in Lower Hutt near Wellington, New Zealand where its Design, Made to Measure Factory, Administration and Warehousing are located.
