Fevzi Uzun in 1992 and today Metropole is widely recognized in the industry as leading P&I and H&M claim disputes resolution experts by clients and peers alike, having been involved in numerous challenging, complex and significant claims. We are well known for our quick response in emergency situations and often praised for providing local expertise with a quality service thanks to our in-house team of specialists with more than 150 years of experience collectively. Our in-house team consists of master mariners, naval architects and machinery engineers all very knowledgeable in their field of expertise. With a network of offices in all major Turkish ports, we are well-placed to advise our clients on their issues in Turkey. Our head office is based in Istanbul with branch offices being located in Izmir, Mersin and Iskenderun We currently act as correspondents for more than 12 P&I clubs including IG & fixed premium Clubs and work directly with most of the other P&I Clubs on a regular basis. We build long lasting relationships with our clients and for some Clubs we have been their appointed correspondents for more than 20 years since our establishment. We handle H&M Claims for several H&M insurers, and we are appointed by many large shipping companies to exclusively handle their H&M claims. Our team is well-equipped to handle hull claims from initial stages to the final assessment of repair bills.
