Privately-owned and founded by a family from the historical city of Yazd (recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO), Espinas is a collection of hotels based from Persian traditional and modern cultured hospitality. In 2002, Espinas Hotel Group unfolds its first key in Astara, a city in the capital of Astara County, Gilan Province, Iran. The project was underpinned by a long-term strategy for high-quality growth and development. Espinas Persian Gulf is the second hotel, strategically located in the city centre operated in January 2009 which was later on brand repositioned on June 2020 into Espinas International Hotel at the Boulevard, Tehran. Working closely with hotel owners around the globe, the Group remained focused on driving growth and expanding the hotel portfolio. On November 2015, the group unlocked its flagship hotel - Espinas Palace Hotel known for its luxury high-rise building located in one of the best locations in the city.
