Membership at Ocean Communities Federal Credit Union is open to people who live, work, worship, or attend school in, and businesses and other entities located in York County, Maine or Cumberland County, Maine. The credit union uses member savings to fund member loans. Unlike other types of financial institutions, credit unions are led by a volunteer Board of Directors that is elected by the membership. The board oversees the direction of the organization in the best overall interests of the membership.
