Yanlord Land Group Limited (Z25.SI/YLLG) is a real estate developer focusing on developing high-end fully-fitted residential, commercial and integrated property projects in strategically selected key and fasting-growing cities in the PRC and Singapore. It was listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange in June 2006.
As at 30 June 2020, the Group’s total asset was approximately RMB137.6 billion. Building on its established track record for developing high areas end residential property developments in prime locations within affluent areas such as Shanghai and Nanjing since its foray into the PRC property market in 1993, the “Yanlord” name has been developed into a premium brand synonymous with quality in the property development industry. Typically, Yanlord residential property developments are characterized by large-scale, multi-phased projects designed and built by international architects, leading designers and reputable contractors.
In Singapore, Yanlord successfully completed the acquisition of then another Singapore Exchange listed company - United Engineers Limited (“UEL”) in February 2020, taking it private and integrating into the Group. UEL (founded in 1912) and its subsidiary, WBL Corporation Limited (founded in 1906), are companies with a history that extends more than a hundred years. UEL is one of Singapore’s pioneer companies and played an integral role in the country’s property development industry since the colonial period. Through the acquisition of UEL, Yanlord currently holds a high-quality investment property portfolio in the country, including UE BizHub CITY, UE BizHub TOWER, UE BizHub WEST, Rochester Mall, Park Avenue Rochester and Park Avenue Robertson.
Besides the property investment, UEL also has mining, agriculture, precision engineering and other businesses in other various countries. The company has since been integrated into the Group, thereby expanding Yanlord’s international business platform.
