The NSW Minerals Council is the peak industry association for the state’s $24.5 billion minerals industry, providing a united voice for around 100 producers, explorers and associated businesses across the state.
We work closely with industry, government and the community to foster a dynamic, efficient and sustainable mining industry committed to healthy working conditions, economic growth, responsible environmental practices and strong communities in our mining regions.
In addition to supporting community groups and services across the state, the NSW Minerals Council and its members are collaborating with local businesses and community leaders through the Upper Hunter Mining Dialogue to address concerns about the cumulative impacts of mining.
The NSW Minerals Council also holds conferences and events, providing a platform for stakeholders to share knowledge and promote leading innovations from the industry.
