Desert Valley Date is a premier packer and shipper of date fruit and date-based products located in Coachella, CA. Our dates are grown locally, harvested in the fall and brought to our state-of-the-art packing house for processing. We distribute a number of different varieties, predominantly, Medjool and Deglet Noor, to companies small and large around the world. The Medjool date, which originated in Morocco, is the largest, sweetest and juiciest of the date varieties. The Deglet Noor, originated in Algeria, is considered to be a semi-dry date; it is less sweet and firmer in texture and a great binder ingredient. We also offer an array of date-based products: date paste, diced dates, date syrup or date sugar, which can be used to create a host of culinary delights and new product innovation as an alternative to refined sugar. Desert Valley Date offers both consumer and industrial packaging as well as organic and conventional varieties to accommodate diverse customer needs and ships worldwide.
