Les Films du Poisson is a French film production and distribution company founded in 1994 by Yaël Fogiel and Laetitia Gonzalez. In 2006, Estelle Fialon become Head of Documentary and short films. The company has produced more than hundred films: features, documentaries and shorts. The films produced by Les Films du Poisson have received many awards: César awards, Caméra d'Or and Best Director Award in Cannes Festival, Oscar nomination for the Academy Awards... In 1996 Les Films du Poisson is the award winner of the Best Young Producer Grant of the Hachette Foundation. In 2008, the company won the IFCIC Prize of Best French producer given by the prestigious financial institut IFCIC. In 2011, Yaël Fogiel and Laetitia Gonzalez are named Best French Producer by the French Académie des arts et techniques du cinéma.
