This is the Hispanic/Latinx Student Union at The Florida State University, one of the seven identity-based agencies of FSU's Student Government. Membership for HLSU is open to ALL students at FSU; not only Hispanic/Latinx students. HLSU prides itself in honoring our Latinx roots by serving the community, being a home for Hispanic/Latinx students at FSU, as well as teaching everyone about our culture, thus our motto: "Honoring Our Roots to Enable Our Progress" HLSU also serves as an umbrella organization for 19 affiliate organizations: 1.
