The Literacy Coalition of Central Texas breaks the cycle of intergenerational poverty through holistic literacy services. Low literacy impacts every facet of social life. When adults learn how to read, write, do basic math, improve their English skills, and learn how to use computers, they gain the power to lift themselves out of poverty, find sustainable employment, and help their children succeed in school. Our services and partnerships create a bridge to opportunity through Adult Education, Career Development Education, and Family Education.
