Mission
Ovio’s mission is to teach mindfulness in order to wake people up to their true nature making the world a more compassionate and sustainable place to live.
At Ovio we understand people are already overwhelmed with knowledge and information. The purpose of our courses is not to add to this overwhelm, instead, we offer strategies and perspectives to help cut through all of this noise in your head to live with clarity, compassion, wellness, joy and equanimity.
While certain mindfulness training has been adapted from meditation and yoga traditions, Ovio’s mindfulness courses are a secular, scientifically-informed approach that operate in harmony with any belief system. An increasing body of evidence shows mindfulness can have a positive impact on wellness, resilience, focus, creativity, relationships and performance.
Ovio’s mindfulness programs are part of a global, evidence-based, movement, which has seen companies such as Google, LinkedIn, Apple and Harvard Business School adopt mindful practices that reduce workplace stress, reactivity and absenteeism, increase employee wellness, energy levels and enhance company culture.
