Peter Hawkins, a sales manager at the time, saw the opportunity to provide local manufacturers with their own trusted ingredients supplier. But Peter wanted to be more than a distributor. His vision was to build a team of experts that would work collaboratively to develop unique solutions for their clients, building a dedicated food technology laboratory so Hawkins Watts could provide the entire solution, the ingredients and the know how. Peter’s passion for building relationships has become the secret ingredient of Hawkins Watts’ culture.
