The Embassy of the Free Mind is a museum and a freethinkers meeting place in the city centre of Amsterdam that harnesses spirituality, science, art, culture and music to promote and share free thought. Located in the majestic 17th-century House with the Heads on Amsterdam’s Keizersgracht 123, the Embassy combines a range of functions: knowledge centre, international meeting place, reading room, exhibition room, rare book rooms and a living room of Amsterdam.
Opened by American author Dan Brown, the Embassy of the Free Mind is open to the public from 1 November 2017 and offers a versatile programme that includes a museum experience tours, talks, debates, lectures, concerts and conferences. It is also the house of the Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica collection. Over 28.000 books ranging from Hermetic Philosophy, Mysticism, Kabbalah, Taoism, Sufism, Gnosis, Rosicrusians, Alchemy and such.
We accept the museumcard.
There is a café and an alchemical garden (no museumcard needed to visit). Feel welcome!
