Finnish Ice Hockey Association (FIHA) is the national governing body for ice hockey in Finland and a member and representative of the IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation).
All domestic competitive series operate under Finnish Ice Hockey Association, except men’s Liiga which is a separate organization. Together with clubs, FIHA is responsible for growing and developing the game at all levels as well as taking care of the approx. 70 000 registered players and 40 000 official games played yearly.
FIHA oversees Finnish Ice Hockey from entry-level to high performance teams and competitions, including National Teams participating in World Championship events and the Olympic Winter Games.
