BOCS exists to nurture the well-being and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of persons affected by HIV/AIDS through compassionate health care and social services.
Dental Clinic devoted exclusively to HIV/AIDS dentistry ours is the only clinic of its kind in Southeast Texas. Clients receive: emergency care; basic oral hygiene; treatment of lesions, ulcers and gum disease; dentures and other services. Omega House provides respite and end-of-life care in a safe and loving home-like environment where people with HIV who are in the late stages of life live their final days with dignity and in peace. Our 8 bed facility offers medical supervision, nursing care, pain and symptom management as well as emotional support and assistance with daily activities. Omega House is often the only option for end-of-life care for many who have nowhere else to turn and who might otherwise be forced to spend their final days in a much more expensive county hospital or tax-supported facility. Day Treatment Program assist our clients in proactively managing their HIV through support, education and medication compliance. Planned activities promote the physical, psychological and social needs of our clients. It provides a safe, supportive, and cheerful environment from 7am to 5pm Monday thru Friday. Meals and snacks are included. Housing Assistance Program basic budget planning and financial assistance with rent, mortgage, and utility payments for people living with HIV/AIDS.
