Dutch public broadcaster NPS is a legally based, independent and discerning broadcasting organisation. Without any ties to political, social or religious movements the NPS has an open mind to all developments and opinions in society.
NPS started broadcasting in 1995, following the Dutch government’s decision to transfer a large number of programme activities of the NOS (Netherlands Broadcasting Corporation) to a new broadcasting company. These activities are related to the areas Art, Culture, Current Affairs, History, Children and Diversity. The NPS presents itself as an independent and discerning broadcasting company with an open mind to all developments and opinions in society.
