Ayrshire Cancer Support has operated in Ayrshire since 1982 providing emotional support and practical help to those affected by cancer.
Our aim is to improve the quality of life of those living with cancer and ensure that help is readily available throughout Ayrshire for those who need it.
We offer a range of free therapeutic services in our centres, at home and in hospital. These services may help to relieve the symptoms of cancer and its treatment.
Our Hospital Transport Service is staffed by volunteer drivers who collect patients from their homes, accompanied to hospital for their treatment and taken home again after treatment.
This service is especially useful for patients who feel unwell, those living in rural areas, the elderly and parents taking their children for treatment.
