ICDL Africa is a subsidiary of ICDL Foundation, the certifying authority of ICDL (International Computer Driving Licence). It was established to guide the implementation of the ICDL standards in the African context.
ICDL Africa manages the accreditation of a growing network of ICDL Accredited Test Centres on the continent, and facilitates partnerships with organisations who share our national economic development and capacity building goals. ICDL Africa recognises the importance of digital literacy and ICT skills, and the urgent need for a more coordinated and effective action in driving economic development across Africa.
ICDL certification programmes have been delivered to over 14 million people, in 41 languages, across 150 countries, through a network of over 24,000 test centres.
Candidates can register for the ICDL programme at any ICDL Accredited Test Centre (ATC) in Africa, where ICDL tests are conducted according to the worldwide ICDL Quality Assurance Standards. Find your nearest ATC by visiting the ‘Get Started’ page on icdlafrica.org
