هيئة الفجيرة للبيئة هي جهة حكومية محلية تم إنشائها بموجب مرسوم أميري رقم (1) لسنة 2018 والصادر من صاحب السمو الشيخ/ حمد بن محمد الشرقي، عضو المجلس الاعلى للاتحاد، حاكم إمارة الفجيرة بتاريخ 5 سبتمبر 2018، بحيث تكون هي الجهة المعنية عن إدارة شؤون البيئة في إمارة الفجيرة وضواحيها وإدارة المحميات الطبيعية البرية والبحرية والحفاظ على الحياة الفطرية والتنوع البيولوجي وإدارة موارد المياه والمياه الجوفية وحمايتها من التلوث أو الاستنزاف، وإصدار التصاريح البيئية المختصة بممارسة الأنشطة ذات الأثر البيئي. The Environment Authority is a local government agency established by Amiri Decree No. (1) of 2018 issued by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sharqi, member of the Supreme Council of the Federation, Ruler of Fujairah emirate on September 5, 2018, so that it is the concerned entity for environmental affairs management in the Emirate of Fujairah, the management of land and marine nature reserves, the preservation of wildlife and biodiversity, the management of water and groundwater resources and their protection from pollution or depletion, and the issuance of environmental permits for the practice of environmental activities.
