Since its inception in 1959 by Albert Friedrich Piguet, our brand has been committed to creating and streamlining impeccable writing instruments that blend quality craftsmanship and exquisite materials. Persisting the tradition of innovation which ignites creativity, our company renders its customers with affordable luxury and fine-writing experience.
Our motto: “The pen is mightier than the sword!”
The inspiration for our logo, The Knight Rudolf, was the Count of Geneva from 1252 until his death in 1265. He was described by Renaissance historians as “the more noble son of a noble father.”
Rudolf, who found himself in austere wars while living peacefully in his estate in the castle of Saint-Maurice, overwhelmed his adversaries through diplomacy rather than fighting thanks to his astute correspondence. The count proved to the world that “The pen is mightier than the sword!”, and his fervent life inspired our company.
For over 60 years, the Piguet pens brand heritage has both established Albert Friedrich Piguet as a worldwide symbol of luxury fine writing and assisted in progressing fine writing craftsmanship. Through the years, Piguet pens have transformed the writing experience into a sophisticated symbol of success. From humble beginnings to the unveiling of an exquisite collection of fine pens, the Piguet pens brand heritage is one that strives to embody rich Swiss culture, modern elegance and a truly one-of-a-kind fine writing experience.
