Saudi Airlines Medical Services launched in “Saudi Arabia” in 1970, and then it established specialized clinics that provide primary health care for employees of “Saudia” and their families in the city of Jeddah, and other similar clinics in Riyadh, Madinah and the Eastern Province. It was also accredited by the General Authority of Civil Aviation and the American Federal Aviation Administration to provide aviation medical services.

In 2019, a partnership was established with Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital where the Saudi Airlines Medical Services became the first government sector to be privatized in accordance with the Kingdom's 2030 Vision under the name "Medical Fakeeh”.
