Founded in 1983, Denver-based Roth Sheppard Architects is nationally recognized for its elegant, yet functional public safety architecture and highly innovative restaurant, retail and entertainment spaces. With more than 65 awards from the AIA, ASID, IIDA and other design associations, over the past 27 years Roth Sheppard has contributed to the planning and design of more than 40 law enforcement facilities, as well as 80 restaurants and high-end retail stores. In 2010 Roth Sheppard won the prestigious AIA Architecture Firm of the Year awards for both Denver and the State of Colorado and in 2012 Roth Sheppard won the prestigious AIA Architecture Firm of the Year award for the Western Mountain Region, acknowledging the firms leadership role in design, mentoring, teaching and professional practice.
Recently completed projects include the Museum Store at the Denver Art Museum, ModMarket restaurant in Boulder, D’Jangos restaurant in Crested Butte, 21 Tokyo Joes Restaurants, Vesta Dipping Grill in LoDo Denver, Room and Board in Cherry Creek and South Coast Plaza, CA, Scandinavian Designs Furniture Stores in California and Illinois, the Windsor Police Facility, the Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) Headquarters Facility, the Colorado Bureau of Investigations Regional Criminal Justice Facility in Grand Junction, and the Town of Milliken Police Department and Meeting Hall Facility.
