Formed in 1987, Free Tibet is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that campaigns for Tibetan self-determination, human rights and an end to China's occupation. We are independent of government and funded almost entirely by our members and supporters. We have the largest membership of any Tibet support organisation. Free Tibet is a member of the International Tibet Support Network (ITSN), a worldwide group of affiliated organizations campaigning for human rights and self-determination in Tibet.
