CAMLab creates and curates multimedia storytelling.
Founded by Eugene Y. Wang, Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Professor of Asian Art at Harvard University, CAMLab was established in 2018. Our projects integrate humanistic inquiry with multisensorial technology and design. Through expansive research and groundbreaking creative practice, CAMLab uses digital technologies to stage cultural history.
CAMLab’s practice spans immersive installations, exhibitions, films, publications, virtual worldbuilding, and other multimedia forms. Taking as its acronym the triad of “Cognition | Aesthetics | Multimedia storyliving,” CAMLab serves as a nexus where artistic understanding, aesthetic contemplation, and immersive storytelling coalesce, weaving a rich tapestry of experiential scholarship, history, and culture.
