The Colorado Eagles are a member of the American Hockey League, based out of Loveland, Colorado and are the affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche.
The team was founded in 2003 by 6-time Stanley Cup winner, Ralph Backstrom. After winning consecutive ECHL Kelly Cup Championships in 2016-17 and 2017-18, the Eagles moved to the AHL in the 2018-19 season. The Colorado Eagles' goal is to provide the best in family affordable entertainment and support the communities of Northern Colorado.
