Little Red Fern was founded by Ryan Cheevers in April 2019, and is a company focused on digital storytelling to drive engagement towards building brands.
Ryan earned a Film Studies degree from Spring Arbor University in 2004, and is a graduate from the Los Angeles Film Studies Center. His first job out of college was at Warner Bros. Studios as a personal intern for Academy Award winning screenwriter, Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind, The DaVinci Code). From there, Ryan worked for several Los Angeles based production houses — Radar Pictures, Groundswell Productions, Red Granite Pictures. He earned credit on films such as Milk, The Wolf of Wall Street, Dumb and Dumber To, and many others. In 2011, Ryan formed Paper Crane Productions, where he wrote and produced several short films and television promos.
Ryan returned to Michigan in 2015, where he became the Marketing & Communications Manager at United Way of Southwest Michigan (until April of 2019). Aside from his work with Little Red Fern, Ryan continues to produce content in Los Angeles through Paper Crane.
Ryan was selected to the 2019 class for Moody on the Market’s 40 Under 40.
