Schloss Dagstuhl is the premier meeting place for computer scientists to discuss ongoing research. We are best known for our series of Dagstuhl Seminars where up to 45 researchers meet for a week. Unlike at conferences, the focus is on the discussion of ongoing and unpublished work. Schloss Dagstuhl was influential in the formation of several fields in computer science, like bio informatics, semantic web, or scientific visualization. Schloss Dagstuhl is a member of the Leibniz Association, an association of research organizations in Germany.
