Health Informatics New Zealand (HiNZ) is a not-for-profit organisation that supports the digital health ecosystem, with a focus on events, education, digital health media, and networking.
HiNZ is New Zealand’s impartial meeting place for sharing ideas and building knowledge about the use of information and technology in the health sector.
The annual HiNZ Conference is the largest digital health event in New Zealand, attracting more than 1200 delegates.
eHealthNews.nz and it’s fortnightly eNewsletter, is a free dedicated news service for the digital health sector. eHealthTV.nz is a HiNZ-run webcast channel, eHealth Webinars is a webinar series, and eHealthTalk is a podcast series. HiNZ also publish a magazine, Digital Health Connect.
The HiNZ community comes from a diverse range of professions within healthcare, technology, and government. HiNZ members include doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, health sector managers, IT industry managers, analysts, academics and students.
HiNZ builds and strengthens connections between these groups and encourages the sharing of ideas across the sector. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in digital health.
