Mail.ru Group is developing a unified, integrated platform for communication and entertainment Internet services. The company owns a leading mail service, one of the most visited portals in Runet, leading Russian-language social networks — VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, a portfolio of the largest online games, which includes projects such as Warface, Armored Warfare, Skyforge and Perfect World, a service for searching and ordering ready meals Delivery Club, messengers ICQ, TamTam and Mail.ru Agent, a free classified ads service Yula with a geolocation, Pandao Chinese marketplace, open source DBMS Tarantool as well as a platform for the industrial internet of things.
The company is actively developing its B2B business, providing companies with tools to simplify workflows and increase their efficiency: among them is the Mail.ru for Business platform, Mail.ru Cloud Solutions and the myTarget advertising platform, which combines the web and mobile audiences of the largest in Russia and the CIS services and social networks.
In 2011, the educational direction launched. Today, seven leading Russian universities have programs of additional IT education for students: Technopark (MSTU named after N.E.Bauman), Technosphere (VMK Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov), Technotrek (MIPT), Technopolis (SPbPU), Technoatom (NRNU MEPhI), Igrosphere (Voronezh State University and PSU). Each year, Mail.ru Group holds several major IT championships and competitions. The company also owns a controlling stake in the online educational platform GeekBrains.
