Université de Saint-Boniface (USB), formerly Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface, offers education at both university and college levels. The oldest post-secondary establishment in Western Canada, tracing its origin back to 1818, and one of the co-founders of the University of Manitoba, USB offers approximately 20 programs to its 1,500 students from 31 countries. Its language courses (French and Spanish) attract each year overs 4,000 registrations, bringing its student population to about 5,000. Université de Saint-Boniface offers and intercultural learning experience based on inclusivity and diversity. Deeply rooted in its community, USB contributes to the vitality of the French community of Manitoba, Canada and the world through its instruction and research. In 2015, USB was named for the fifth time in a row to the prestigious Manitoba's 25 Top Employers.
