International Training Academy (ITA) is an elite vocational school for skin- and health care programs. The Academy offers comprehensive Allied Health training. Medical assisting students receive training in both administrative and clinical skills, in addition to phlebotomy and EKG training. International Training Academy has developed externship opportunities for its students at prestigious teaching hospitals and top private practitioners. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to receive national certifications through NHA and NCCT. The Academy is also renowned for its esthetics, clinical esthetics, and esthetics teacher programs. The Academy also offers advanced and continuing education courses for personal appearance professionals (estheticians, cosmetologists, makeup artists, nail technicians, spa managers, and instructors). In its Student Spa, members of the public can receive face and body treatments from advanced students (under supervision of the instructors) at a fraction of the luxury salons' prices. Profits from the Student Spa are donated to charity. The Academy also provides educational seminars for people who want to take better care of their skin or learn how to apply makeup. The Academy is licensed to operate by IDFPR and approved by the Division of Business & Vocational Schools of IBHE.
