Our supermarket chain is the second largest in Peru, based on revenues, and operates four formats, Plaza Vea, Plaza Vea Super, Vivanda and Mass, that together target multiple socioeconomic categories of the Peruvian population. Our pharmacy chain is the largest in Peru, based on revenues, and operates the InkaFarma brand, the most recognized pharmacy brand and one of the most recognized brands in the country. Through our Real Plaza shopping center brand, we operate the largest shopping center chain in Peru, based on gross leasable area (“GLA”). We develop and own real estate properties that contribute to our retail businesses and have a large portfolio of premium locations and sites for future expansion. Our integrated retail and shopping center platform allows us to attract growing consumer traffic through our highly recognized retail brands and convenient locations, and enhances our ability to develop commercial sites and attract an optimal tenant mix. As a result, we believe we are in a strong position to capitalize on Peru’s consumption growth to drive sales and profitability in all of our segments. InRetail is part of Intercorp Peru, one of Peru’s largest business groups, with activities spanning financial services, private equity, education, retail and real estate. Intercorp Peru also has investments in other retail formats such as department stores (Oechsle), Home centers (Promart) and consumer credit (Financiera Uno).
