The Western Australian Association for Mental Health (WAAMH) was incorporated in 1966 and is the peak body representing WA’s community-managed mental health sector, and many organisational and individual members.
Our vision is as a human right, every one of us will have the resources and support needed for mental wellbeing, recovery and citizenship.
We advocate for effective public policy on mental health issues, deliver workforce training and sector development, and promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
WAAMH, in conjunction with the Mental Health Commission organises Mental Health Week in WA, annually.
