{Poem88}, a collective, produces exhibitions, performances, special events, and short-lived environments. as guest curators at Tanner-Hill Gallery in the White Provision building, Robin Bernat, Karen Tauches and Jon Ciliberto promote and pursue collaborations in the visual arts, music, experimental sound, theatre, and film.  our schedule of exhibitions and events begins in october 2010. representing emerging and mid-career artists, we are eager to present explorations on a new artistic frontier. our artists Linda Armstrong, Phillip Buntin, William Downs, E.K. Huckaby, Julia Kjelgaard, David Naugle, Sharon Shapiro, Robert Walden, Christina Price Washington, Holly White bookshop poem 88 at tanner hill gallery offers a changing inventory of artist books limited edition books on art, photography, architecture and design as well as art magazines. events poem 88 presents screenings of retrospective cinema throughout the year. additionally, musical performances and spoken word accompany many of our exhibitions. publications sliver sleep is the publication arm of poem 88. through our collaborations with artists locally and elsewhere, we produce artists books and limited edition prints. twice yearly, we invite artists to submit proposals for works to be created under the imprimatur of silver sleep offering our design services and production oversight at a greatly reduced fee.
