Founded in 1980, the history of the Group advanced in perfect harmony with the great moments of the Brazilian history. In almost 30 years in the market, WTORRE became one of the most important business groups, with complete and innovative solutions with focus on various segments: engineering, real state projects, residential projects, shipyard management for the construction of offshore platforms, in addition to the dedication to investments in infrastructure. The Group has a solid position in the market, with a portfolio of over 190 projects, a total, up to now, of over 5 million square meters built, and about 2.3 billion assets. Also, presently, the Group has over 9.5 million square meters of land in stock, a leased area of 565,847 m², an area of 513,603 m² under development for leasing, and numerous other projects being analyzed in Brazil and in other countries. The Group is responsible for the introduction in Brazil of the TILT UP® system, a North American construction technology that combines agility and efficiency. Thanks to the success of this technology, the company received the Master Imobiliário award, in 1996. Before the turn of the millennium, the Group also introduced to the Brazilian market the funding strategy, used for the financing of constructions, which resulted in the construction of two units in Mexico. WTORRE also brought to Brazil the Built to Suit system, which comprises: the acquisition of land, construction made to order and, later, the leasing of the project in a long term contract.
