In 1822, the watchmaker Carl Suchy founded his company in Vienna. In 1844, he was the first and for a long time the only watchmaker to receive the title of Imperial and Royal Supplier. Purveyor to the Court. The Suchy family's movements always met the highest standards of elegance and technical perfection. With the help of his four sons, Carl Suchy & Söhne advanced to become the most important and increasingly internationally active watch manufacturer in the Danube Monarchy. The imperial court, the aristocracy, artists, industrialists and celebrities of the turn of the century were among his regular customers. In 2016, Carl Suchy & Söhne was brought back to life - the mechanical wristwatch "Waltz No1" is dedicated in design to the Viennese turn-of-the-century architect Adolf Loos and his love of simple elegance. The "Waltz No1" is produced in Switzerland and powered by the high-quality Swiss automatic caliber "VMF 5401" with micro rotor. The first limited edition of 22 pieces is already sold out and the second edition of 50 pieces is currently in planning.
