The mission of the Reading/North Reading Chamber of Commerce is to foster a healthy, vibrant business community that supports connections between businesses, connections between businesses and residents and contributes to long-term economic growth in the region. We do this by: * Supporting the local business community with opportunities for networking, collaborations and meaningful connections * Encouraging business to consumer connections through community events and leadership recognition * Raising awareness for and providing support with issues relating to town government, such as by-laws, signage and local development * Offering timely educational opportunities on a wide variety of relevant topics, to help members gain business acumen and gain timely skills * Supporting and promoting the local business community by providing exposure, advocacy, and marketing opportunities * Serving as a bridge between Reading and North Reading business communities * Acting as a community resource by offering information for consumers, entrepreneurs, and future business owners * Participating in multi-Chamber events to provide members an opportunity to expand their network to neighboring communities
